[U90/U100, Realtek ALC1200, Green Headphone Out, Rear] No sound at all

Bug Description

I have found a workaround though it's rather cumbersome... If I go into the sound output settings tab and change the option from headphones output to speaker output it works.

Ubuntu 11.10 (oneiric) reached end-of-life on May 9, 2013.

We appreciate that this bug may be old and you might not be interested in discussing it any more. But if you are then please upgrade to the latest Ubuntu version and re-test.
