Bug Description

Since I installed Ubuntu 11.10 the webcam shows strange colours and so on in Cheese.
Was no problem at all in the previous 11.04 version.

There are some other webcam applications I can use. But I prefeer Cheese.

I have tryed Cheese in Pardus 2011.2 who recently was released. Works fine there.
So this seems to be a specific problem with the 11.10 version.

During the installation process in 11.10 the cam take a snapshot for my profile.
That photo looks normal.

The webcam is a Logitech C300. And it's suppose to work with Linux:

But even other webcam brands got this problem to.

It worked great under 11.04 now, 11.10 i have (only in cheese, nor skype etc) red shadow pictures/video with horizontal lines.
If i put the resolution of the photo back from 1280x720 to 640x480 it is good again.
Note the video resolution didn't change, that is still @ 1280x720.
hardware: MSI X460DX bison cam NB Pro

Hope it will be fixed soon!

if i change resolution to 640X480, cheese works fine, maybe a little slower than older releases
