Bug Description

Typically, during testing, I use Brasero to burn a pre-made 10MB ISO to disk to test a drive's writing ability. However, with theDVD-RAM drive ( HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GT30N ) on this machine, Brasero does not find any blank media. I tried several CD-R and DVD-R disks but Brasero failed to find any of them.

Ubuntu Itself recognized each one, and I finally tested the drive by using Ubuntu's native disk writing (drag file to the disk and click Burn in the file browser) to test the drive's writing functionality. I've used Brasero on several other systems with Oneiric without issue... this is the first time it's failed to work properly.
