If this is not a lightdm bug please give an indication if this is a xorg or other package issue and I will open the bug request there.

lightdm just let xorg do the job, reassigning there, it would be useful if you could add your Xorg.0.log to the bug, how do you call the command?

affects: lightdm (Ubuntu) → xorg-server (Ubuntu)

Actually; that won't work in this case (apport-collect is broken for xorg-server bug reports).

Please reproduce the bug on oneiric and file a new bug using this command:

   ubuntu-bug xorg

Thanks, sorry for the confusion.
