Dash - Pressing the left and right arrow keys causes the search field to redraw incorrectly

Bug Description
Steps to duplicate this bug:
1. Open dash.
2. Set focus to the search field.
3. Press the left and right arrow keys.
This happens no matter if the field has any text in it. Doing nothing, the field will eventually draw after a few seconds. A minor bug that impacts the aesthetics of dash.
