Bug Description

I installed correctly gpointing-devices-settings, and did all I was looking for especially the third button emulation of my mouse (that is to say the two buttons clicked together is doing a paste action after having selected a text with mouse).
Tha is working. But each time my screen is going on save energy mode , the parameters are all loosen : I mean my emulation is not working anymore. ANd the strange thing is that if i launch again gpointing , i find the parameters all correct, but i just close the window og gpointing simply without touching a single parameter, my mouse still not working. Now, when I launch again gpointing, and ig i just uncheck/check the emulation of the middle button, then i close gpointing, then ... it works ! Till the next time I have to launch it again if my computer is turned off or put in save enrgy mode.

Could you correct that behaviour, so I don't need each time to launch and launch again gpointing ?????

Thanks, I'm on Ubuntu 11.10 with Gnome Shell activated.

Sorry that we couldn't fix your problem properly, but gpointing-device-settings is dead upstream, buggy and completely unmaintained.
