Bug Description

When I use the Kubuntu-low-fat-settings Nepomuk gives me annoying popups. There is a very simple solution: rightclick on the clock, chose "customize digital clock" (could be a little different, I'm working in Dutch), on the left side choose "calender", and there unmark "show appointments".
Show appointments asks KDE something it can't do because Nepomuk is disabled by low-fat.
I even noticed that low-fat-settings actually MARK this item!

The workaround given above works for me.

In the English text, "show appointments" is actually "show events".

And now I notice something strange. When I switch to "netbook view" the popups come back. To be precise: I come from the "desktop view" with the "show events" item UNMARKT. After switching to "netbook view" the "show events" item is marked again. And as a result the popups come back.

They are not views, but entirely different UIs, thus they do not know about each other. Which is by design intended.

As for the original issue, I am not sure this can actually be resolved sensibly, not without baring long-term effect anyway, that is, once you had klfs installed, it will have to alter *your* plasma config to deactivate the appointment feature. This could lead to quite some confusion, particularly since we cannot restore the previous state at deinstallation.
