@Torben could you please file a new report as this is a generic error message which can be triggered in many different ways. Please also add the whole content of /var/log/dist-upgrade/ thanks.

Thanks for your bugreport.

Could you please try removing the (obsolete) libcupsys2 ?

Hi

I have tried to remove package libcupsys2 with kpackagekit, and to perform an upgrade,
result was that the upgrade proceeded past the point of the "Could not calculate" error, after this I aborted the upgrade since I would like to test the fixed Cups package made for Bug 874835.

Since this bug is almost fixed, I will not make a new bug report unless requested to do so again.

Thanks for great and fast support

Package test response will be given in Bug 874835

Sorry about taking so long to add my logs... here they are. I don't think it has to do with libcupsys2 for me (which I get an error for when I try to remove, sorry if that's irrelevant)

chunks1016@chunks1016-HP-PC:/var/log/dist-upgrade$ sudo apt-get remove libcupsys2
