Bug Description

I decided that I would practice my Adobe Illustrator skills by making new icons for apps in the Ubuntu app store. First one I picked was BleachBit. Here is the result of about 1 and 1/2 weeks of off-and-on work. I tried my best to adhere to the Tango standard.

Adding a suggested icon, done in Inkscape, from already existing tango icons.

Note that Faenza's Bleachbit icon is nice too (http://cdn-img.easyicon.cn/png/5189/518969.png), may be a source of inspiration.

Is there another link for Faenza's? The link http://img.easyicon.cn/png/5189/518969.png is 404.

nodiscc, I like your attachment 11/23/2011. Can you confirm it is original work by you and available under the GNU General Public LIcense version 3+? Next I just need to see how it works in all the different contexts like a web favicon (probably won't work), MS Windows, on various backgrounds such as black, etc.

Hello Andrew, the icon i attached was done by me in Inkscape, it is made from two icons from the tango-icon-theme package. It is public domain, and i'm attaching the package's copyright file.

So I think it's ok to use it.

nodiscc: Would you please write that your work of combining the images is also in the public domain? Also if it is not much trouble, it would be nice to know the filenames of the original two icons and their authors.

(Sorry for the slow response.)

Also would you please mind making it exactly square (right now it is 300x262) because a typical format I need is 48 x 48. And what do you think about making the white hole in the broom transparent---this may help it look more natural against a black wallpaper background?

Hi Andrew, attaching a tarball with the icons in different sizes, in png and svg formats, following the freedesktop icon theme specification. I thought that was better than just placing an icon in /usr/share/pixmaps/ as is it not necessary for the other apps (file manager, taskbar...) to resize it before displaying it.

For copyright changes, just add the following to your copyright file (I used http://dep.debian.net/deps/dep5/ as a reference):
