Bug Description
AFAIK, the waf binary is included in the source package of postler and it is also used to build the source package.
In my opinion, source packages should not include binaries (with the exception of restricted packages). I am aware that these are platform independent python "binaries". For java source packages for example, it is not IMHO not allowed to include java-bytecode in source packages and I think the same holds for python source packages.
Pleases also note that waf is removed from the ubuntu repository from lucid on. See #529154 for details.
Anyway - its just a suggestion.
