Bug Description

Having upgraded to Oneiric I find the KDE plasmoids somewhat broken. There is no antialiasing.

Most prominent example are the hands of the clock : http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/4392/bildschirmfoto7t.png
Also happens with the temperature-meter: http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/1687/bildschirmfoto8.png

What I tried:
- Upgrade to KDE 4.7.2
- Delete Plasmoid and create it again
- Create an new useraccount and try it

Problem stays always the same.

What else can I do?

It's a Lenovo T410 with Intel Corporation Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller and usual Kubuntu drivers.

I upgraded a second computer to oneiric. Same problem. Formaly wonderfully drawn widgets are now ugly. How can that be? What changed?

Now that this is probably filed against the correct package, it might make it easier for developers to work on the problem if you were to apport-collect this bug. To do that, open the Konsole and run this command:

apport-collect 872789

That will automatically attach information that may be relevant to the bug.

Trying to report this bug using apport-bug before I got the awnser that I wasn't using Ubuntu packages. Which is strange since I only use those and do not compile KDE myself.

I'm on 4.8.3 now. Still have the same problem. I haven't recieved a single "try this or that..." or a "we need this from you...". So I guess this is a NOFIX.

It's a report with the right party:

Hi there!

Thanks for reporting this bug! Your bug seems to be a problem with the KDE program itself, and not with our KDE packages. While we appreciate your issue, it would be better if it was tracked at https://bugs.kde.org, so that the KDE developers can deal with this speedily and have direct communication with you as the reporter for more effective debugging.

Thanks!
