SIS630 comp. bus not detected, module not inserted

Bug Description

I see an sis630_smbus error shown as services start.

$ dmesg|grep sis630

[] sis630_smbus 0000:00:02.0: SIS630 comp. bus not detected, module not inserted.

When I run Control Center, I am limited to Screen Resolution of 1024x768 or lower.

Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Herd-4 i386

Hardware:
  Mobo: ECS K7S5A Pro Rev 5
  Video: 3DFR40000 - NVIDIA GeForce MX 4000

Go to:
/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist

and add this:

# K7S5A
blacklist i2c_sis630

Save, reboot and done ;)
