Bug Description

Mobile broadband connection in default eOS installation is unusable since the following packages don't ship with the distribution:
ppp
pppconfig
pppoeconfig
In order to improve user friendliness, I suggest these packages to be included in future releases.

Unfortunately, there's no technical possibility to fix this in Jupiter.

Okay. I was wondering if this could be fixed in Luna? If only the package "ppp" would be added, it would solve the problem and it won't take too much space on the CD/DVD.

Yes, both PPP and PPPoE will be available in Luna. A fix is already committed to the branch.
