No stock by lot link in product form

Hello,

In the version 5 of OpenERP, when you edit a product, you have a link named Stock by Lots.
In the version 6 (I use the 6.0.3), this link is missing.

This link was very practice and I don't understand why it has been deleted.

 "Stock by Lots" link from Product form is Removed,
because it was depreciated in new version.In Version
if user want to filter product by Lot or Location,
go to Link "Stock Moves" From Product form and than
user can Filter product by Lot,Source Location,
Destination Location By Clicking on Lot ,Source,
Destination Button.

Can you please share your views?

Thanks for your answer. This is my point of view:
"Stock move" gives a list of all movements.
"Stock by lot" gives the status of each lot for 1 item.

This is different and the link "Stock by lot" is still needed.

Hello ,

 In 5.0 "Stock by lot" link From Product form gives
list of Moves of current Product's with Loction ,
Product, Production Lot, Quantity Fields.

  In new Version if user click on "Stock Moves" From Product form
It will Disply Only Current Product related moves in which it also
Display Lot ,Location(Source and Destination) ,Quantity.

 In new version we have feature of Group By.. so user can filter
Records by Product ,Location ,Lot etc.. so no need to add
"Stock by lot" Link

"Stock move" gives a list of all movements. You cannot see the status of each lot for one article.

If you don't want to change this in your version, could you explain me how to change it in my server? Is there a solution to add this without coding (I would prefer this way). If not, I can write code if necessary.

Please, respond to my question. That's really important for our clients. They consider it as a bug (and I too), and if you don't want to correct the bug in your release, give me a solution to correct in in my database.

We also needed to have the Production Lots link in the product form. This can be added by creating a new Window Action in OpenERP.

Dear Atik Agewan,
The stock move list of of no use to get the current stock of each lot, even with a "group by" operator, simply because it will not decrease with outgoing quantities.
For example:
- open a product and click the "update stock" button to make a quick inventory, enter quantity 21 and production lot 0000002 for location "shelf 1"
- make a move from shelf 1 to shelf 2 for quantity 10 of lot 0000002
- open the product again and follow the link to the related stock moves, group by lot : the quantity will be 31 (21 + 10) instead of 21.

 According to given comment#7 Lionel is right.
 But if you think about the current stock of each lot go to the "warehouse/reporting/inventory analysis" group by lot, it will decrease with outgoing quantities and get the perfect result.
 I hope now this is clear to you.
