gnome-screenshot fails (black image) and pegs CPU to 100%

Bug Description

I have a dual screen set up with slightly different resolutions, i.e. external screen is 1920x1200 and the laptop screen is 1920x1080. Taking pictures with the built-in screenshot tool results in a black image with just the mouse pointer showing.

But what makes it a serious problem is that the gnome-screenshot stays resident (after Cancel) and pegs one CPU thread to 100%. After a few attempts of taking screen shots, the whole CPU was maxed out! (see attached system-monitor image)

BTW, the screen shots were taken with shutter -- just in case anyone was wondering :)

The problem I reported a while back went away. I was using shutter most of the time so I cannot exactly pinpoint what update included the fix. Do you either of you have Xorg-edgers installed?
