Bug Description
Delete a message in Mozilla Thunderbird.
Type Ctrl-Z
The message should "Undelete" but does not.
This is not likely Thunderbird's fault, but rather likely rests with something in the Window manager or Gnome.
Similarly under Firefox the Backspace key does not give the Firefox behavior of going back one page in it's history.
The Undelete function does work from the menu.
"File" -> "Undelete Message"
Thanks!

I've had this problem a couple of times. Just had it again and currently using version 1.5.0.10 (20070221).
I find the solution is to shut down Thunderbird, delete the Inbox.msf and then allow Thunderbird to re-create it. Obviously back the old one up somewhere rather than deleting it and to avoid losing mail I also move all of the Inbox messages I want to keep into a new, temporary folder while I do it.
Anyway the problem is exactly as Joe says, Ctrl-Z just doesn't respond after deleting a message.
I don't know of any "File" -> "Undelete Message".
"Edit" -> "Undo Delete Message" doesn't respond for me when I have this problem, they both either work or don't.
Cheers,
Nigel
