Ubuntu Server 20111007

During an expert installation, the "Software Selection" list contains an item "Ubuntu Desktop USB".

Still present in netboot 15.04. There are two options: "Ubuntu desktop" and "Ubuntu desktop USB." What is the difference?

And if you wonder - but if you looked at Ubuntu over the years, you probably may not anymore - yes, of course it is also still in Ubuntu 16.04 f... LTS!

The internet says that this is "..a bug that snuck into the seeds that were used to build ISO's for Ubuntu 11.10, presumably fairly late, as it was not caught in the fairly comprehensive beta ISO testing."

So that bug is there for whopping five years.
Or in other words: Three "LTS" releases.

Btw its in the mini.iso, if there someone really looking but didnt find anything, and then not asked further questions.

People might think if they dont choose it they wont have USB support, so yes, its an important thing to fix.
