nautilus won't open a window when only copy dialog is shown

I think this is a unity-bug for I encountered the behaviour also with thunderbird - when opening the conig dialog for example.
In Nautilus when copy dialog is open but all other windows are closed clicking on Home-Icon does not result in any effect because unity just remaximizes possibly hidden windows. Also when closing down the message window in Thunderbird and leave open the config-dialog I have to close everything before unity will open message-window again.

With nautilus it is more severe: I had an 18-hours-filetransfer and could not access my files via clicking in the sidebar after the copy dialog was the only window remaining open

well i have seen this issue many times and i am able to reproduce this bug. if we right click on the home icon in launcher while copying ,three options appear.i select home folder but the home folder is not opened.also if we click on the home icon the home folder should be opened but not.There is only one way to open the home folder that we open any folder like"untitled folder" from the destop and than select the other drive, but this not a proper way to open home folder.attaching a video have a look and confirming the bug.
