synaptic crashes immediately after startup

Synaptic crashes immediately after launching.

This happens each time I try to run it, tried both with my own priviledges as well as using sudo.

I just tested it using a newly created user account. The problem no longer occurs, therefore this might be a problem with some remnants of 11.04 configuration. The problem is that I don't really know what files I should get rid of to let this problem go.

The bug is caused by having the dconf setting "org/gnome/desktop/interface/text-scaling-factor" set to 0.95. Please try to reproduce it with other than default (1.0) setting.

I have checked, and setting the scaling factor to 0.95 did not help me to reproduce this on Oneiric. Do you have any other ideas what might help in reproducing the issue?
