Bug Description

Using Ubuntu under Windows XP, when the < and > (less than and greater than) characteres are bold, they look aligned to the top instead of in the middle like a regular character.

This is more evident at smaller sizes. I'm attaching a screenshot where at 12px the bug is obvious and at 28px where characters are equally aligned.

This can be triggered also using 10px or 11px.

This is similar to bug 872852, where bold characters appear higher than regular characters.

Tackling bug 1643355 will solve this. Passing the font through ttfautohint will help as well.
