Add/Remove Applications gives error message:

"Could not apply changes!

I have noticed this problem in all the herds so far.(Herd1?, 2,3,& 4)
Choosing certain packages gives this error message. I will isolate them in time and report. I notice Kdar doesn't work for this computer, so maybe it should not be there or noted somehow so people don't try to choose it without advanced knowledge of how to work around the limits of installation.
I will try to file this in the right place when the reporting is working right again.

I figure someone will want the sourcves.list file so here it is, I have not changed it from the installation setup yet.

Thanks for your bugreport.

If you could give me one example package were you get the "Could not apply changes!
Fix broken packages first." that would be really really cool.

Thanks,
 Michael

In any case, the logic that detects what packages can be installed together and which can't needs to be improved here.

O.K. I found a current couple.
Most of the other stuff installed o.k as long as I didn't install them together.
but-
Add/Remove Applications:
Sound & Video:
GCfilms (Movie Catalog)
GCstar (Movie Catalog)
trying to install these two together gets me the error/bug.
