Bug Description

New install of daily build, feisty 7.04
Login as regular user
Enable root user # sudo passwd root
Go to control center - very cool stuff
Enable root login from the login shortcut in control panel
Log out, log in as root
Go to control panel - whole bunch of stuff missing
Try to add from menu editor, when I select something it deselects it!

I want to disable sudo on the regular users. However without the admin tools in control center, it makes it *very* inconvenient to log in as root and get some work done.

Otherwise, I must commend all of you for the excellent job so far, it's looking *really* good!

Thank you for your bug. That's probably due to the gnome-menus code masking admin item for people not member of the admin group, it should special case uid 0

This upload fixes the bug:

 gnome-menus (2.17.92-0ubuntu3) feisty; urgency=low

   * debian/patches/07_admin_entries.patch:
     - make admin entries being listed when user uid=0 (Ubuntu: #86588) or when
       the USER_IS_ADMIN environment variable is defined (Ubuntu: #40309)
