Bug Description
I've always had a strange bug when interacting with windows that are placed using the grid in another virtual space using Unity launch bar : I'm not redirected to the right virtual space and the window I'm trying to reach behaves oddly.
Here's how to reproduce this bug (it works with any application, I chose those ones because it matches my configuration) :
- open firefox in virtual space #1 and maximize it.
- open gnome-terminal in virtual space #2 and put it in the right bottom corner using the Grid Plugin.
- get back to firefox in virtual space #1 with ctrl-alt-left
- click on gnome-terminal in unity launcher
The gnome-terminal window seems to move itself to reach virtual space #1, but the expected behaviour was to be automatically redirected on virtual space #2. If the gnome-terminal window is not put in the grid, it works as expected, which is why I decided to report this as a compiz grid bug.
I've had this issue on Ubuntu 11.04, and I think I can reproduce it in 11.10 as well (maybe it was on 9.10, but I wasn't aware of that feature at the time).
Let me know if you need a screenshot or more information about that bug !
