Mozilla Composer cannot be installed on your computer type (i386). Either the application requires special hardware features or the vendor decided to not support your computer type.
I did install this program in Hurd3.

I'm using an AMD 64 Opteron processor, with Ubuntu Feisty for 32 bits.

I can confirm this error in Feisty's Add/Remove Applications.

Concerns all Mozilla apps; composer, mail, news, calendar, browser and chatzilla.

This installation: AMD 3400 64bits machine with 32 bits Ubuntu 7.04 herd 4.

BTW: Also in the Add/Remove Applications app. Check if you can select a product (mark a checkbox) by pressing the spacebar key. The selection is kind of delayed till you move to the next row.

the problem was resolved in later versions of Ubuntu. I'm with Intrepid 64 bits and the problem doesn't exist anymore.
