p7zip-rar cannot be installed in oneiric because of version mismatch with p7zip-full. Syncing from Debian solves the problem, compare bug 407619.

Test results:

p7zip-rar (9.20.1~ds.1-3) from Debian unstable works, I've successfully opened RAR archives with file-roller, when p7zip-rar is installed.

FFe granted. It's a new upstream release, but a leaf package, that's currently uninstallable.

BTW, I would have preferred a full debdiff to a changelog diff. And you shouldn't mark FFe bugs or sync requests Confirmed, that means it's been granted.
