Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Piston mini client proxy url parsing with proxies using username and password seems to have a problem, wants to use the password as the port number.

Mohammadul, do you perhaps have a # character in your password?

I have the same problem, and I think urlparse fails if you do.

yeah! I do have a # character in my password. But in the final release version, I haven't find such problems in the proxy login.

Yeh, it still fails for me, and I have a # in my password.

Unfortunately around here, changing one's password is a difficult process :) Ill wait until the next time Im forced to change it.......

Using 12.04, last kernel upgrade (Linux 3.2.0.29) neither Ubuntu Software Center nor Synaptic Package Manager will not load. They bot will load on screan until the end and then just disapear. I have no idea why they willnot load. Worked with 3.2.0.27 does not work now.
