mupen64plus ubuntu 11.10 amd64 protected memory error

Bug Description

when if full screen adjustin volume with hot key freezes session with a protected memmory error, so does exiting full screen or attempting to stop emulation. can ctrl+alt+f1 to non GUI session log in and shutdown

The rest sounds more like a xorg/driver bug
