I have had my host sleeping so much in the last two weeks and update must have done something. this error was detected when it was coming out of the sleep cycle and poof

please for the love of whatever god you believe in can you tell me how I can force my host to *never every enter standby state* I've tweaked with the limited controls in the bios and s1 or s3 make no difference nor does the "never standby" option in power control of the settings. ....arrrrrggghh hh
