gnome-settings-daemon crashed with SIGSEGV in register_gnome_settings_plugin()

happened just after login. Also, first, a "System problem detected" with no further detail, but this came up after I clicked on report problem on that, so i think it might be part of the same problem.

64bit here too. Compiz crashed at the same time.

64-bit, clean install of Beta 2, everything is updated. The crash occurs, the system remains functioning properly, but the popup is annoying.

64bit too... the crash happens during upgrade right after a clean install
