Bug Description

im completely new to both linux and ubuntu. I installed Ubuntu to a home brewed PC. the problem is i'm not able to get any sound. not being as linux/hardware savvy ive been looking for solutions to get this issuse fix so far this is the only info so far:
1)Motherboard is the sound card

$ aplay --list-devices

Which Ubuntu version did you install? Please attach the output from the "amixer" command: Run "amixer > amixer.txt" in a Terminal window and attach the file amixer.txt.

amixer.txt in attachment, as for ubuntu version it is 6.10
