kmail message list loses focus after deleting a message

Steps to reproduce:

1. Click on a message in the message list, observe that it is selected and the preview pane shows the message
2. Click "move to trash", the message is deleted and the next message in the list is shown in the preview pane but nothing is highlighted in the message list

What should happen:
The message being previewed should be selected in the message list

(using kmail 4.7.1)

Unfortunately this is not consistently happening, but it does seem to coincide with bug 777025

This seems to be fixed for me in recent updates.
