Bug Description

The manpage for 'setfont' states that running the program on its own will load the default font, however this does not work.

From:

  strace setfont

it shows that 'setfont' searches in order for:

  /usr/share/consolefonts/default
  /usr/share/consolefonts/default8x16
  /usr/share/consolefonts/default8x14
  /usr/share/consolefonts/default8x8

and then gives up. Ideally these well-known-names should be provided, either as symlinks, or otherwise.

On a system that I have upgraded from Edgy or Feisty I do have a '/usr/share/consolefonts/default8x16.psf.gz' however on a system I have been upgrading from Maverick I do not.
