there appears to be an updated version of espeakedit, the important thing is that espeak and espeak edit should be version matched http:// espeak. sourceforge. net/test/ latest. html
in Natty, espeak is Version: 1.44.05-1ubuntu1
espeakedit is Version: 1.43.03-1
to get espeakedit working against the espeak in natty then it would need to be upgraded to 1.44 sourceforge. net/projects/ espeak/ files/espeak/ espeak- 1.44/
