please include 'git describe' output in build metadata

Bug Description

Yet another "more metadata" request from me I'm afraid :-)

The output of 'git describe' is more human-useful than the commit id, so can you please include it in the build metadata somehow? An attribute like kernel.git_describe_output or something sounds about right to me.

"kernel.git_describe_info": os.getenv('KERNEL_VERSION','unknown'), added to the jenkins_kernel_ci_bundle.
