Bug Description

The Staff Calendar List View doesn't seem to be tied to the time horizon selection. It is important that, just like with the calendar view, the List view changes based on what time horizon you choose (day, week, month). The List view should also change if you use the date selector - right now nothing happens. Additionally, you should be able to navigate forward and backward on the list view, just like you can on the Calendar view.

Previously, the list view used to show any event from current time until infinity.

Currently, the list view show the same time horizon as previously, independently of the current view (day, week or month) selected.

Taking the Day view as an example, should I change the events shown to be:

1. from start of the day to end of the day?

2. or, from the current moment to the end of the day?

3. or, from the current moment to the infinite future? (which means leaving it as currently is)

All these are equally easy to implement, but it is hard for me to decide which is the best way, so it has to be a policy decision. Point 2 could make the most sense imo, but then there will be no more way to see all events until the infinite future, like previously.

Since the normal calendar gets the same toolbar as the universal one, this decision affects all calendars in the site.

The list views should show all the events that fit into that time slice, honoring the time horizon that was selected. Option 1 from your list.

Day: All events for the particular day, from start of that day to end of that day
Week: All events for the particular week, from start of that week to end of that week
Month: All events for the particular month, from start of that month to end of that month

Thanks - that clears it: will implement this way.

Jim, test this in production and see if it conforms to comment #4. If so, mark it as fix released.
