ehhh. i want to help but frankly this is too involved. i don't want to create an account. i don't want to give you my email address. i don't want to look through bugs for similar things. i do want to send you the uploaded crash data which i did, which i would hope that if you had a simple enough process, everybody could do that and you could analyze the lot of them to see where problem areas may be or how widespread a problem is. but frankly the process right now is too involved for a simple bug. it's not particularly repeatable, at least not to the point where i want to go track it down. i guess this bug should be more likely categorized under problems with the bug reporting system, but hey, what can you do?

Do you have any special font settings on your system? Does it crash on startup? Or during some operation? Is there any pattern? Or does it happen complettely randomly?
