Menu in wrong place on screen after boot

Bug Description
When I first boot up my machine, the menu does show in the top left corner of the screen where it should do (below the button on the panel) instead it shows close to the centre of the screen. If I click the menu button in quick succession about 8-10 times then the menu fixes itself and goes to the correct place.
