Bug Description

After finishing the installation of the Ubuntu, the screen size and resolution is not recognized by the program and the whole installation process crashes when screen is 1440 x 900. It becomes a real nightmare to find out how to correct it. for my case the command DPKG-RECONFIGURE XSERVER-XORG partially solves the issue, and allows to load the GUI after STARTX but for newbies it makes your first experience with Ubuntu very frustrating. also, the screen resolution is not the correct. Users need a little master degree using 915 resolution, since the tutorial you have does not works permanently in this version. Other distros recognize the screen size and resolution out of the box, so you should do it too, since you are the best distro in the market.

Thanks!
