Bug Description
I tried Oneiric beta 2 recently.
I use a Fujitsu-Siemens Lifebook S7210 laptop with a Dell monitor connected via DVI. First, when Ubuntu starts with the "Try/Install Ubuntu" window, only laptop screen is working (the monitor screen is blank even when I don't open the laptop lid while loading). I can only turn on the external monitor after booting into desktop using System Settings. But when I try to turn off the laptop screen and keep only the monitor turned on the monitor turns off too.
