Thanks. Can you provide step by step instructions on how to reproduce? I tried but in my systems I cannot reproduce.

James Shaw (hertzsprung) wrote :

1. Open the Sound settings dialog
2. Choose the Sound Effects tab
3. Select 'Default'
4. Select 'Bark' (or any option other than 'Default')

You will hear the default sound and the bark sound simultaneously.

This bug is still present in Ubuntu 12.04 Alpha 2.

If you have done so, please tell us the number of the upstream bug (or the link), so we can add a bugwatch that will inform us about its status. Thanks in advance.
