Lots of window-closing noises at shutdown

I am in the habit of logging out and saving my session, and this seems to cause
a large number of short sounds in rapid succession when I log out. I assume
this is all of the windows closing.

Not strictly an ubuntu-sounds problem, but I'm not sure where or how this would
be fixed; reassign as appropriate

as said in the bug report probably all the open windows get closed, but not sure
on how/where to fix that ...

Yes, I suppose the window-closing sound should be suppressed during shutdown or
something, but this is not a big deal. We have bigger fish to fry for the Warty
release

The thing is that closing windows doesn't make a sound, which is why I'm
curious. But yes, for Hoary.

NOTWARTY should be renamed to NOTUBUNTU; it's for bugs which don't affect Ubuntu

I can't conveniently try it at the moment, but will when I can.

Perhaps the problem was when rebooting from within the session?

Is it normal to hear_any_ sound during the logout/shutdown sequence?

right, it used to do that on the reboot I'm pretty sure. I've tried on my hoary
system yesterday and seems to be fixed, I'm closing the bug. Please reopen if
you get the issue with hoary.
