Thank you for the bug report. Could you please try to obtain a backtrace by following the instructions on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Bugs, or upload the crash report from /var/crash/.

Also, please answer these questions:
Is this crash reproducible? If so, which are the steps that lead to it?
Which flash package do you have installed?
Which Java package do you have installed?
Which firefox extensions do you have installed?

This will greatly aid us in tracking down your problem.

I can't include any file from /var/crash as there is no one about Firefox (so maybe it's not crash at all?).
How to reproduce it:
if you insert mms:// link in browser it's ok -> Totem will be opened. But if you click on mms:// link on a page it leads to closing Firefox.
I've opened Firefox in terminal and have made the steps leading to crash (see above):
$ firefox

/usr/lib/firefox/firefox-bin: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/totem/libtotem-gmp-plugin.so: undefined symbol: NS_CStringContainerInit

Maybe it's problem with Totem?
My soft:
Firefox: 2.0.0.1+1-0ubuntu1
Flash plugin: 9.0.31.0.1ubuntu1
Extensions: flashgot, adblock, tabbrowser preferences, adblock filterset updater (latest versions).

Works just fine with a clean install of 7.04

I used that link, which asked me if I wanted to open
Totem "%s"

(This looks bizzare, did somebody mess up a string substitution in C here?)

I was then asked to install the following codecs:
(gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad, gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly)

After taking care of that, radio started streaming in Totem

Sorry, I think it's not actually problem with mms://.
It's a problem that leads to closing Firefox when it opens new window (the link I used was mms://).
To reproduce you should do next:
1. Open http://www.radiorus.ru/index.html in Firefox.
2. See attached screenshot and open the link as it is showed.
In my system it leads to closing Firefox. But it worked just fine on other systems (for example, Debian Etch) so i think it's bug in Feisty.

this looks is a dupe of bug 85112. Await the next totem upgrade to fix this.
