Bug Description
I updated from 11.04 to 11.10. The update went fine but I get the following error now when launching Synaptic:
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'Xapian:
Aborted (core dumped)
Attempting to fix this gives me:
$sudo update-
No handlers could be found for logger "softwarecenter

Aptitude and apt-get still work though.
