Synaptic won't import key files

Bug Description

I have this PGP key file (armored ASCII) which I know works, 'cause "sudo apt-key add file" works fine. But when I pick the same file from Synaptic's Settings: Repositories: Authentication: Import Key File file picker, I get absolutely no response and no new key in the listing.

At the very gleeping least, Synaptic should complain explicitly about whatever irks it.

I'm running Ubuntu 11.04 (2.6.38-11-generic), synaptic is apt 0.8.13.2ubuntu4.1.
