Bug Description
The first file I search for in the regular Dash after starting up will not open until the second attempt.
To reproduce:
1. Start up or restart the computer.
2. Click on the BFB in the Unity launcher.
3. Start typing the name of a file that you know will be found.
4. Click on the file when it appears in the dash.
5. Wait, and nothing will happen.
6. Click again and the file will open.
Unfortunately I don't know how to go about getting more information for this bug, as I'm new to reporting Unity bugs. I know this behaviour definitely works with text files, because the only file I ever look for in the dash is a text file. I have not tried searching within the Files lense specifically, or searching for a different type of file, but I'll give it a go next time I boot up.

As far as my research goes this only happens for files I open with gedit. Picking an image or a sound file works in the first try alway.
