Bug Description

Unity configuration with 'wall' plugin.
Conky configuration can be 'own window yes, window type normal or desktop'.
With alt+tab 'desktop symbol' conky disappears when window type is 'normal'.
With simple left click on desktop conky disappears when window type is 'desktop'.

Expected.
Leave conky alone, in case blacklist it somewhere.
CCSM plugin 'window rules', sticky or 'not closeable' don't have any effect.
The behaviour is ok with cube enabled, at least in Natty.
Unable to test cube in Oneiric since we experience variants of crashes then.
Update:
Desktop computer was upgraded to Oneiric, cube enabled (ign crashes), alt+tab and left click behaviour lets conky disappear as described above and in comment #7.

do I need to enable some plugin in ccsm?

Conky configuration can be 'own window yes, window type normal or desktop'.
I have never used conky could you please point me to the steps to enable this setting?

## This is the setup on laptop where the bug was reported from.
The wall-plugin is standard on Unity, workspaces are displayed as wall. (currently six)

## This is the setup on desktop computer which shows the same behaviour of alt+tab.
On desktop computer the cube-plugin is enabled, workspaces are displayed as 3d cube. (currently eight ws)

To run conky the user creates a file ~/.conkyrc. (current setup http://paste.ubuntu.com/749516/)
then put conky in autostart apps or run it via alt+f2.
Other examples of .conkyrc can be found there.
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=281865

Issue on both setups:
#1
own_window_type normal, alt+tab 'desktop symbol' makes conky disappear too - not expected.
## This was not the case when using application switcher plugin in ccsm instead of the switcher embedded now in unity-plugin. Workaround is to disable all shortcuts in unity-plugin 'switcher' and instead enable app switcher of ccsm, which results again in compiz crash. There is no option to single disable the 'switcher' in unity-plugin.
#2
own_window_type desktop, left click on desktop makes conky disappear - not expected.

After lots of updates I'd consider the issue fixed.
Setups are:
Desktop-pc - Oneiric - Unity 4.24.0 - cube-plugin
Laptop (which the bug was reported from) - Precise - Unity 4.24.0 - wall-plugin
Results:
Click on the desktop doesn't let conky disapper.
Alt+tab select 'desktop' lets conky disappear, but it reappears when alt+tab 'desktop' is selected again.
I'd consider this behaviour as expected. Thanks for your efforts.
