Lots of fixes, even a security fix. Looks good to me.

TBH, The changes look rather big to me. The security fix in the changelog seems to be already in the 1.70 release, which we already ship. Do you happen to know when upstream intends to release 1.80? How "important" is this new version to the kubuntu pepole?

Looking again at the fixes, it indeed seems to be a good idea to have the new version in feisty. Hm.

krusader 1.80.0-beta1 contains over 40 changes, bug fixes and updates.

near 6 months passed between 1.70.1 and 1.80.0-beta1 release, and krusader devs are active on the project.

lots of kubuntu people are fan of krusader. How "important", i don't know. After a quick popularity contest on #kubuntu-devel, i would say: yes.

anyway, i asked upstream when 1.80.0 will be released. I'm waiting for his reply.
