Bug Description
Issue:
The current jme driver module distributed in the Linux kernel is outdated, resulting in non-functioning gigabit capabilities for JMC2x0 series Gigabit NICs by JMicron. The current driver version in Ubuntu's distributed kernel is 1.0.7. The driver version in the upstream Linux kernel is 1.0.8. The latest driver version by the OEM is 1.0.8.3, listed as 1.0.8.2-jmmod in the source code.
The reason I do not use the ubuntu-bug utility to report this bug is that I have already updated my driver manually from source, so the information reported would be incorrect.
