Installed greeters not updated in lightdm.conf, inability to boot

Bug Description

After switching from ubuntu to xubuntu I removed unity-greeter. However, this did not automatically update lightdm.conf to use lightdm-gtk-greeter instead, leaving me with lightdm not working.

it's somewhat a broken configuration and a corner case, ideally unity-greeter could unregister itself though when uninstalled
