Bug Description
Ubuntu 10.10 amd64bit with both Thunderbird versions 3xx on one machine and 6xx on another machine with all updates installed. For a few days now if the update manager label is showing on the screen's bottom menu bar and if Thunderbird is running, right clicking on "Spam" immediately after checking to make sure the msgs are in fact spam, brings up the options box as usual. However when the cursor is then moved into the box, to select empty junk, the entire box immediately disappears, before a selection can be made. In both cases, where this has happened, once I've downloaded and installed the available ubuntu updates, normal Thunderbird operations resume.

This morning I experienced a similar problem with Firefox. I had both firefox 6.0.2 and thunderbird 6.0.2 open (but and when I tried to delete a bookmark in firefox by right clicking and selecting delete, the entire submenu box disappeared each time I tried to move the cursor into it. Closing out firefox and restarting it resulted in normal operation.
I should note, that in both computers where this behaviour has occured, the computers are in different homes and the other computer is running the latest version 3xx (or so) thunderbird and firefox programs from the ubuntu repos. Both computers have the latest ubuntu updates as well.
